The problem
The site needed to look credible to people choosing who to trust underwater, and there was no budget for a photo shoot in Lakshadweep.
Approach
Next.js on Cloudflare against the diveazure.in domain, with Supabase handling auth including Google sign-in and a role-gated admin dashboard behind it. The imagery problem was solved by generating bespoke assets through ComfyUI workflows rather than settling for stock photography that would have read as generic.
In short
- Supabase auth with Google OAuth and a role-gated admin dashboard
- Custom site imagery generated via ComfyUI rather than stock photography
- Deployed on Cloudflare against the diveazure.in domain
What I took from it
Generated imagery earned its place here because the alternative was stock. The choice was not between real photography and synthetic, it was between synthetic and something that would have undercut the site's credibility.
